Benjamin Franklin was an amazing politician, scientist and inventor. At a young age, he became a printer. He worked for his brother’s newspaper for a while, but his brother became jealous of him and beat him. Ben ended up running away, ending up in Philadelphia. Later in life, Ben bought The Pennsylvania Gazette, turning it into the most successful newspaper in the colonies. Ben began to take an interest in politics, proposing the Albany Plan of Union, negotiating the Treaty of Paris 1783, attended the 2nd Continental Congress, and many others.
