There are many events that could have caused Romeo and Juliet’s death, however, there is one person to blame. Because of this person, Romeo and Juliet are dead. The person I believe is the most responsible for their death is Benvolio. I blame Benvolio because he’s the reason why Romeo went to the party which started it all. Although there are other people, Benvolio is the reason why Romeo met Juliet which led to their marriage, and inevitably leads to their deaths. When a servant comes and asks Romeo to read something for him. After reading, Romeo and Benvolio find out that it’s a party for the Capulets and Benvolio talks Romeo into going to get over Rosaline. “At this same ancient feast of Capulet's Sups the fair Rosaline whom thou so lov'st; With all the admired beauties of Verona. Go thither; and, with unattainted eye, Compare her face with some that I shall show”. (Act1.1) As shown in this quote, Romeo is talked into taking the invitations to the Capulet party. At the party, Romeo meets Juliet the daughter of the Capulet. They both fell in love with each other instantly which is the cause of this chaos.
