My desire to apply to law school is entwined with my commitment to support marginalized communities. As I came to terms with my own privilege, I realized that the I have a responsibility to fight for the rights of those who have agency but are unable to navigate the legal system without help. There is power in the law, and in order to defend others, I hope to learn how to utilize it.
