Have you ever lied to someone, stole, maybe even hurt someone? This are all outcome of Betrayal, and all come from a story written by William Shakespeare called The Tempest. The story contains many types of betrayal. Prospero the main character of the story and his faithful servant Ariel, even had a betrayal problem between them. With Prospero promising Arial his freedom when he finishes a task but as the story progresses he ask Ariel of more than he originally asked. Prospero and his brother Antonio, was the reason the story began. Antonio jealous of what Prospero had achieved he had him exiled with his 3 year old daughter in an old boat into the sea. With it being in different forms ranging from lies, theft, physical and mental harm. All the characters are connected in their own ways, like Prospero and Antonio or Caliban and Prospero. The characters are also on both side being betrayed or betraying somebody. The story begins with the betrayal and end with the forgiveness of the betrayals in the end. The main example would be theft and lies, between the brothers Prospero a Duke and his Antonio. This being the beginning of the story and eventually leading to how the story will end with everyone being forgiven. Antonia was jealous of Prospero's success borrowed an army from the King of Naples, to exile Prospero and his 3 year old daughter Miranda. They were put on a boat and sent out to sea, after landing on a Island they meet Caliban a Servant of the Islands Owner, A witch name
