Some texts that do not reflect Friedan’s beliefs are, “Stand by Your Man” and “The #MeToo for US Gymnasts” (Doc B),(Doc C). In like manner, an example that Friedan would disagree with is, “Stand By Your Man” the lyrics, “You’ll have bad times And he’ll have good times Doing things that you don’t understand” (Doc B). Moving on with another example from the text, “Stand By Your Man” is the lyric, “Give him two arms to cling to And something warm to come to When nights are cold and lonely” (Doc B). If Friedan was alive today, Fridan would disagree with “Stand By Your Man” because Friedan states, “Many women no longer left their homes, except to shop, chauffeur (drive) their children, or attend a social engagement with their husbands” (Doc B),(Friedan 2). Unlike “Stand By Your Man”, the text doesn’t display Friedan’s beliefs in getting women understand that they have the capacity to leave their homes with no questions asked about their whereabouts (Doc B). Furthermore, the text “The #MeToo for US Gymnasts” stating, “In the courtroom in Michigan, the assistant attorney general, Angela Povilaitis, said:”We teach our girls and daughters to be too nice. To just ignore and put up with uncomfortable situation, to stay silent when they should be allowed to be heard”” (Doc C). If
