Have you ever wondered how a person looks at the world? How does a person's purpose and duties come about? The Bhagavad Gita provides Hindus with this. It is a summary of the concept of dharma, which is the concept of duty, law, ethics, morality, law and order. The Bhagavad Gita is the most sacred passage from the Mahabharata and is told in dialogue between Arjuna Pandava and Krishna, where Krishna is urging Arjuna to fulfill his dharma and not care about pleasure, pain, profit, loss, success, or failure. “Alan Hruby’s materialism set him apart from his family, those who knew him said. It also estranged him.” This is a quote from a NewsOk article about Alan J. Hruby, a 19 year old man who let his need for materialistic things put him in the worst situation possible. This young man's need for watches, clothes, traveling to pricey place, and the other finer things in life, led him to kill his whole family to “become the sole heir to the family’s money” so that he could afford his luxurious life. This new story relates to my quote from the Bhagavad Gita because it truly shows living with these luxurious things may seem nice, but in the end won't make you happy. It shows a real life situation about how living a life with desires, cravings and possessiveness can lead you to unhappy and non-peaceful life. Yes, from the outside, Alan J. It is a picture of me taking the trash out in the morning when my dad asked me to. As you can see, I am happy even though he didn’t offer money or food, he simply just asked if I could pull it out to the curb in the morning. I wasn’t expecting a reward or anything, and I was okay with that. It shows that a person can be happy just doing a good deed for someone and not expecting a benefit for their own good. If I had expected a reward and didn’t receive one, some could say that I wouldn’t be to happy about that. But without expecting anything, I was happy still and was glad I could help out.
