How do all of the existing and thousands of worldviews and religions influence our collective understanding of each other, our daily lives, and potentially our eternal destiny? Exploring both the distinct and shared concepts within these diverse belief systems not only can foster a deeper global understanding among followers, but also potentially bring greater significance and meaning into our personal and individual perspectives and practices. Delving into the three specific worldviews of New Spirituality, Secularism, and Christianity will help bring comprehension of those worldviews and also allow followers from all backgrounds to more sensitively navigate the rich diversity that characterizes our global community. Rather than dwelling on differences, there is value in celebrating the shared aspirations that transcend these individual beliefs and also room for deep conversations about the origin and author of that higher consciousness. Another worldview that many follow, knowingly or not, is secularism. Secularism is defined as a materialistic worldview that outright rejects formal religion or its influence on government (Myers & Noebel, 76). Secularists do not feel the need to be saved by a God or to believe in anything supernatural, such as Heaven or Hell or a God or any such Higher Power. To secularists, it is not about being “inherently good or evil” but more about being capable of having a good morality and being ethical (Myers & Noebel, 87). While diverse opinions exist among people from different backgrounds and religions, it is important to consider everyone's beliefs with empathy and understanding. Christianity, the world's largest religion, with over two billion followers, revolves around the profound narrative of Jesus sacrificing himself for humanity's salvation. According to the Bible, Jesus, the Son of God, was crucified, only to be resurrected by God, his and all followers’ heavenly father. Christianity relies upon the Bible, a compilation of documented stories written by prophets and historians who were witnesses to God’s interactions with people from all beliefs around the world. The Bible serves as evidence for the belief that God is the creator of all living beings, the Earth, and Heaven. There are several Christian beliefs, most following and delving deeper based on the ten commandments; a set of basic yet profound instructions to help you live a moral
