Rome has made it’s way to one of the top political, military, and economic powers. In 63 BCE, Rome takes control of Judea.
There are various ways to describe what a worldview is, to some it’s a view of what the world is, to others it’s their biblical views or foundation, or even their personal views or opinions. Weider and Gutierrez define a worldview as something that holds much meaning, as well as many emotions and potential consequences. It’s a response of our heart or inner being, our intellect, emotion, and will; it’s your philosophy of life and the framework you bring to making decisions. (Weider & Gutierrez, 2014, pp. 58-59).
As Christians we are called and simply live to work for the furthering of Gods kingdom. Each Christian should take great pleasure in work and use it as a tool to reach others

Our worldview is the lens that we make sense of life and should be intentional as we adopt a philosophy of life that is informed by something greater than ourselves as Christ should be our example, according to 1 Peter 2:21 “for [as a believer] you have been called for this purpose, since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you may follow in His footsteps” (Amplified Version). For this reason, our moral compass when based on a biblical worldview should influence how we approach making decisions as it pertains to business ethics (Porter,2013). Objective Empiricism is making decisions without feelings; unbiased. Subjective Intuition is making decisions with feelings, tastes, opinions; personal. For example, Objective Empiricism would be saying the Bible is the most well sold book in the world, because this is verifiable by fact (Guinness World Records). Subjective Intuition would be saying that the Bible is the best book of all time, or that it is the most influential book of all time; these are just my opinions, not facts.
Since the birth of Christianity, followers of the religion have been instructed to follow a particular philosophy on life -- to reflect the life that Jesus Christ lead on Earth. The New Testament of the Bible is one lengthy instruction manual for Christians -- with books written by the Apostle Paul, John, and Luke. These three men based their stories off of their experience with the Lord and their literal and figurative walk with Jesus Christ. Most of the New Testament is filled with parables from their lives that end with life lessons -- or instructions for Christians to follow. Through these recounts of Paul, Luke, and John, one is able to relate and and reflect on their own life to discover how they should live their life in Christ’s image.
Introduction What does it mean to have a worldview? A worldview is a set of beliefs about our perception of reality that influence our thoughts, morals, and actions. It can be anything from the lessons we learned from our parents and grandparents to our stance on economic policies. Now, what does it mean to have a biblical worldview? A biblical worldview is the lens we use to trust the word of God and how we apply it to everyday life.
There is only one Jesus. The bible tells of three different accounts of his life. The four gospels are each telling the same story but from a different point of view. Each story is also speaking to different audiences. The authors of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John all tell us the same rudimentary story about the life of Christ.
Brave New World is a work of literature portraying a dystopian world. In this society, people are never sad or unsatisfied. In order to maintain stability, there are things that are abolished and kept away from society to keep everything running smoothly. One of these things is religion because it is seen as unnecessary and creates complications. On the other hand, the economy is widely worshiped and consumerism is a major key.
Employee behavior can be due to internal and external causes and we need to know these so that we, as managers, utilize attributional biases to make unfair judgements and utilize unfair and inappropriate actions. I believe that this is a biblical concept as Scripture states, “We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up” (Romans 15:1-2 ESV). As managers, we must be quick to build those under us up and not tear them down due to our own biases. How do you as a Christian balance the competitive spirit with Scripture that tells us not to rejoice when we see our opponent fall? To answer the question, “How do I as a Christian balance the competitive spirit with Scripture that tells me not to rejoice when I see my opponent fall?” After pondering this question, I must admit that I have been guilty when hearing that something may have happened to someone who has done spiteful things towards me and I must admit that I have been guilty of rejoicing in their downfall.
Christianity is the belief that Jesus Christ died for our sins and God is the creator of life. The Bible belt is located in the south where strict fundamentalist Christians dominate life. Many beliefs of Christianity have been confused or misunderstood in some parts of the bible that they preach over Sundays, Wednesday nights, and even on some occasions Saturdays. Most verses in the bible that have been misunderstood include, gays and lesbians, judgement, love, and overall God. Studying such a powerful book such as “The Bible” would give a person such wisdom and love, but with Religious hate crimes on the rise it almost makes people curious what is being taught in the churches.
“Every story is informed by a worldview” (Godawa). A worldview is basically how one sees the world based on their own perceptions. However, a biblical worldview is not based upon any beliefs and values. A biblical worldview is defined as a framework of ideas that are in the scripture. Keith Druly defined a worldview as “a particular bias in our presuppositions that influences how you look at the world and what we see or expect to see” (Druly).
Within this paper I am going to explore and discuss what a worldview is and the dissimilar purposes it roles in counselling. Then I will explore how my worldview interacts with the solution focused therapy (SFT) approach, and in additional I will also look into the historical development of solution focused therapy and the possible place it have in my worldview today Worldview is a word used to describe the way you perceive life, or things around you. We all have different worldview in regards to our traditions and personal experiences they all come from the way we are all brought up to believes. In all-purpose our worldview is what we practice to understand life around us. It a belief that people acknowledge and surround themselves with.
