Biblical Worldview Into A Virtual Environment For Adult Learners

In preparation to research my topic Research question: How are the needs and expectations of adult and lifelong learners met while incorporating a biblical worldview into a virtual environment for adult learners? Purpose statement: Adult learners and lifelong learners are growing segments in the environment of higher education. The specific research design that I could use to answer my proposed research question is the document analysis. I would gather my supporting data by reviewing peer-reviewed journal articles and this is the method that I more familiar with based my previous research projects. The design would be a qualitative approach and I feel that this method is more in line with my personal and professional philosophy of situational awareness, application, and leadership and is more suitable for purposes of my research topic. Qualitative researchers have not typically relied on document analysis as a primary source, however the focus has shifted to incorporate a wide range of documentary resources due to document analysis can provide insight to historical trends that cannot be presently evaluated, access to formal communication about the field being researched, and factors that generate benchmarks and best practices in various fields of research and professions such as education (Miller & Alvarado, 2005).
