The Hobbit is a project produced by J.R.R Tolkien. It centers around a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins as he accompanies Thorin Oakenshield and his fellow Dwarves on a quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug, a ravage dragon. The Hunger games centers around Katniss Everdeen, a teenage girl living dystopian future where 24 children aged 11 to 17 must fight to death until only one or a couple is a survivor. These two are the main characters in both movies these main characters stand a high chance of physical danger, they both grow as a person they develop new characteristics that outcasts the character that we once knew in the previous movies. Both Bilbo and Katniss end up heralded as such despite being not so welcome as a the ‘hero’ they are often overlooked-the heroes end up being in a environment that is perilous and they both come out alive. …show more content…

Biblo grew up in luxury and riches of the dwarfs while Katniss struggled with much hardship. Biblo started out innocent and became stronger through the journey although Katniss began as a hunter and it became a symbol of hope. Katniss has a clear love triangle where as Bilbo has not dealt with any romance in the movie.
