In The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien, a hobbit named Bilbo goes on an adventure to get the dwarves’ land back. Along the way, Bilbo becomes more courageous by acting bravely, experiencing the dwarves’ bravery. He gets motivated to save the dwarves and Gandolf to show them that he is more than just a burglar.
