The major goal of this class is to provide students with the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of the overall social perception and use of bilingual education, and the application of educational theory and its theory to the actual educational environment. The purpose is in line with my goal of studying the TESOL master's degree. My purpose of taking this class was to learn about the theory of education through the above courses and how to apply it effectively in the classroom. This profound knowledge acquisition leads me to reflection on various topics and problems of bilingual education. In particular, reading textbooks and corresponding writing processes that cover a variety of topics reflecting bilingual education and social and political positions, hospitality, and their efforts on various bilingual speakers help me understand deep and extended knowledge. In addition, group discussions in which I can actively exchange ideas among other students can exchange and reconcile mutual knowledge. For example, when reading an article called " Empowering minority students: A framework for intervention " by Cummins, writing a reflection paper about it, reading other kinds of journals covering the subject, and watching related video teaching materials, it was a great opportunity to deeply reflect on the more fundamental causes and factors of how the ethnic minority students were disempowered and devalued under the current educational environment that affected by the devaluation of indigenous cultures, affecting students' failure to achieve academic
