Bill Gates was born William Henry Gates III on October 28, 1955 in Seattle, Washington. Bill Gates build the world's largest software business, Microsoft through technology innovation, keen business tactics in the process, Gates became one of the richest man in the world (Bill Gates). In 1994 Marry Maxell Gates died and that impacted Bill and Melinda to take some time in 1995 to travel and get new perspective on the world and life. This was a factor that influenced Gates to become a philanthropist. Gates has help the world through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, charities, informing people, and enlightening lives. At lakeside a Seattle company offered to provide computer time for students. During this time at Lakeside School Bill met Paul Allen and bonding over the eagerness in computers. Eventually Bill and Paul both drop out of college in 1975 to pursue for the startup Microsoft. Between 1979 through 1981 Microsoft growth exploded from staff being twenty-five to one hundred twenty-eight and revenue from 2.5 million to 16 million. By 1983 Microsoft was going global with offices in Great Britain and japan and with thirty percent of the worlds computers.
