Bill Gates is recognized by Forbes as one of the most successful men and as the second richest billionaire of 2018 (Forbes Profile, 2018). Bill Gates life work has shown a pattern of impeccable leadership through his work achievements, as he is an American entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist. Bill Gates had a found a passion and intense interest in computer programming and pursued that passion at Harvard University. He eventually dropped out of Harvard to create the software program Microsoft, that at first was not the booming success that it is now (Gates, 2018). Through his hard work and persistence his Microsoft became a successful company, and is known as some who revolutionized the computer software industry. Bill Gates was the CEO of Microsoft but slowly started to step down from his role of leading the company to focus on his philanthropy.
