William Henry Gates III was born on October 28, 1955, in Seattle, Washington. His parents are William H. Gates Sr. and Mary Maxwell Gates.
Bill went to Harvard for 2 yrs but dropped out to found microsoft in 1975 at only age 19. On January 1st 1994 Bill Gates married his wife melinda gates and they had 3 children named phoebe, jennifer, and rory. Bill Gates is now the second richest man in the world. Bill’s parents made good money, His father was a lawyer and his mother was a teacher. As a result Bill had access to a computer as a child. In the early 80´s Steve Jobs asked Bill Gates if he would be willing to work together, Jobs had an idea that if they worked together they could both boost their company’s infrastructure and mold it into a huge mega-organization. Gates refused saying he didn´t like Jobs´attitude, and continued working on his own company. Their rivalry carried on until Steve Jobs passed away in 2011, leaving their conflict sadly unresolved. Bill Gates also had somewhat of a rivalry with his long time friend and co-founder of microsoft, Paul Allen. They always had an occasionally rocky relationship after they founded Microsoft and, Paul Allen stated that Gates was a tough negotiator and he always wanted everything perfect and free of errors.
