There are many popular men and women who have changed the world. One of them is the richest man on earth, Bill Gates. Bill Gates is considered an important man in world history. What makes him so important is that he created “Micro-Soft”. He helped in the evolution of the world by creating Microsoft. In addition to that, he initiated a foundation and donated a lot of his money in it. Many achievements were accomplished by Bill Gates. The first important thing that he did is creating Microsoft.
In 1975, Microsoft were cofounded by Gates and his friend Allen. They started as a small company with huge ambitions. Microsoft aimed to a developed and advanced human lives. After five years, International Business Machines (IBM) contacted the company and informed them that they want them to work on a project called “Chess”. IBM wanted Microsoft to work on the operating system of the project. The operating system means the software that runs the computer hardware and programs. they called the operating system MS-DOS which it stands for Microsoft Disk Operating System. Gates has been in the Forbes list since 1989. He is widely recognized as the world’s richest man for a long time. A fact that will be forever recorded in the history books and will never go away. Although it may seem surprising but in 1999 he was richer. In February 2014 Bill stepped down as a Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft therefore now he just owns under 3% of the company ( constituting about 13% of his total fortune ).
