Do you know who “The Queen of Pop”, “Lady Day”, and “The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” are? These are all exceptional music artists who are successful in the music industry. Madonna, also known as the “Queen of Pop '', has a controversial fashion style and a passion for dancing. She struggled with personal issues throughout her childhood,later she realized that her voice could be her salvation.One of the most common genres of this time was Jass.She began in the Jazz clubs which had started to pop up in the country.Her race,gender,and unique style held back many venues and radio stations from promoting her work but she overcame many of those battles.Her career eventually took off and she rose quickly through the ranks of a singer.”The Greatest Jazz SInger”.Many of Holiday's most famous songs are the result of her inner turmoil.She has struggle to succeed as an African American woman in the music scene and also with personal relationship and they took a toll on her death later in her life,she struggled with substance abuse which led to her demise at the age of 44.She left a legacy that has made an impact on many people.She is considered to be one of the greatest jazz vocalists that have ever lived.She has also been a influence on a number of music performers,not just in the jazz genre.Billie Holiday had some personal and public issues in her life but she persevered but it led to her demise at the age of 44 and has left an impact on many influential people.
