John George Haigh, more commonly known as “The Acid Bath Killer” is a serial killer who murdered six victims throughout 1944-1949. John Haigh was born July 24 1909 in Lincolnshire in Stamford. He grew up in a very religious household, he was raised in Outwood, Yorkshire where his father an Ultra-religious Plymouth Brethren was a colliery foreman (Blanco. Murderpedia).
