The brain is the only organ that has not fully developed at birth. All newborn babies are intelligent and are capable for learning. A biological influence is anything that affects the function and behaviour of a child’s development. Biological influences can affect genes, gender traits, physical appearances, behaviour and personality as a child develops. Biological influences begin to alter the development of a child at pre-natal stage. Parents can have maternal stress, for example; unwanted child, not ready and physical discomfort these will have an impact on the child’s development as the birth-giver is stressed. The embroyonic stage is between eight to nine weeks after conception. This is the most important stage for the babies cell division
