These two black and white images, publicizes numbers of interpretations. Which on the top one seen with 3 lower class women’s that appears to look like house wife’s is actually known to be the Hobbs Sisters, and the one bellow is two middle class models that was photographed while they were having a casual walk in Bond street, London. Has am coming across these two images’ the first thing the caught my attention was their outfits, its safe to say that the way you dress in public portrays the levels of class the person is, which tells you that garments speak volumes. As on the first one these women’s are wearing dresses that reaches all the way to their ankles which they don’t reveal any body part, their legs are all covered up also they upper body. You get to see more and more brave woman’s which isn’t afraid of what the public going to label them as for the types of outfits they chose to go out with, this can be appreciated because of the the development of practical dress for work. social changes that took place which increases social freedom for women around the mid 1910s well as in the 40s they have developed practical dresses for work, it safe to say World War 2 is truly a fascinating era in fashion, society and politics.
