Thanksgiving is one of the United States most celebrated holidays. Not all its citizens know the history of it though. For most of them, Thanksgiving means getting together with the family and eat a lot of food. Others means going out shopping on Black Friday. Thanksgiving is a beautiful holiday, and people should alter it more and learn its origins. Special Thanksgiving ceremonies and prayers is what Thanksgiving is about, thanking for the harvest and other times in life. Since the 1930s, has been known as the begging of Christmas shopping, is also known as the busiest shopping day of the year. Most of the retailers open very early in the morning and offer promotional sales. Black Friday is not an official holiday, but Pennsylvania and some other states observe “The day After Thanksgiving” as a holiday for state government employees. (Black Friday/Shopping) Black Friday might be one of the best days to go out shopping, however throughout the years, black Friday gets worse instead of getting better. There have been people that had lost their life because people go crazy for the sales. People do not care who or what it is on their way.
