The song Black Rage by Hill discusses the problems that blacks have in society. One lyric in the song states, “Having to justify very [our] existence.” African Americans believe that whites are not accepting them into society. In fact, on an article called St. Louis: A city divided, a reporter interviewed an African American women and she claimed that she does even interact with white people because the town is divided into sections. Whether or not this is true for all African Americans in St. Louis it proves the lyric in this song. By saying whites do not accept blacks into the society the fact can also go vice versa by claiming that blacks don’t let whites into their society. Inalienable rights “such as the right to life or the right to liberty, cannot, morally speaking, be given up or transferred to another. Conflicts arise when everyone is given inalienable right such as the right to life. A very controversial topic like abortion is a common conflict. Abortion is the “termination of a human pregnancy.” When the government includes inalienable rights such as the right to life, many people argue that abortion is violating that right. The conflict is the question of when does the life of a child start, at conception, a few weeks, or months into the pregnancy. Although many may disagree with me, I believe that prohibiting abortion clinics and supporting the right of life would resolve this conflict. Another example would be human trafficking. Just like the class discussed earlier human trafficking violates a person’s autonomy and it also violates their right to liberty. When a person is “bought under the radar” it is a violation of the person’s freedom to do as they please. Many people, including myself, believe that this is a conflict of in society. Obviously the people who purchase a slave for their own use believe it is fine if they violate the slave’s freedom, this creates a conflict. A way to fix this conflict is raise awareness against human trafficking and create efforts to stop human
