Who 's to blame for the deaths in William Shakespeare 's “Romeo and Juliet.” The play begins with a boy falling for a girl he’s never met and it ends up ruining both their lives. He causes most of the lies, fights, and deaths. By the end of the play he and Juliet die for one another. Romeo is all to blame for these fights and deaths. Romeo is to be blamed because in the beginning of the play he liked every pretty girl he saw and was upset about Rosaline because she didn’t like him back, and she was going to become a nun. He should have never gone to the Capulet 's party because then he would have never met Juliet. Another reason, he should have never gone to the party is because now Tybalt wants to fight
