I walked down the escalator with a great deal of excitement. I was on my way to Blossom, in Aria Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, and I was anticipating a great treat. As soon as I turned and walked around the corner and caught sight of the restaurant's welcoming and relaxing lights, my stomach growled. The thought of the authentic Chinese food was so great that it almost forced me to run. Blossom has a warm, friendly vibe that welcomes you immediately as you walk towards the waiting area. It almost feels like entering a restaurant while vacationing in Asia - a feeling aided by the Asian vibe in the restaurant. In my opinion, the restaurant was designed top to bottom beautifully by the owner. After talking a few seconds to decide which delicious item we would be consuming, we chose the mochi ice cream. It is priced at upwards 12 dollars. Mochi ice cream is a small, golf ball sized, round dessert ball that consists of a soft, pounded sticky rice cake (Mochi) that is formed around an ice cream filling. The waitress came over and handed each of us our mochi ice cream and left us to eat it. At a quick glance of the dish, you would see a sort of circular smooth surface with different colors with a drizzle of caramel sauce. On the plate, there was a green mochi ball, a peach colored mochi ball, and a white colored mochi ball. As I bit into the green ball, I could immediately taste the cold savory taste of green tea. The chew of the outside mochi gives it a unique texture that you couldn’t find anywhere else. Next, I bit into the peach colored ball, and the white colored ball, which tasted like peach and coconut, respectively. When dipping the spoon in the sauce, and then getting some mochi on the spoon, I was in dessert
