I had a chance to interview the assistant principal of the charter school near my home. This school is located in a nice area of Baltimore County, and the school happens to be a blue ribbon school. A blue ribbon school is a school that has great workers, good grades, good attendance and great scholars. I know that this school is great, because the assistant principal happens to be in charge of many of the ideas for the school. Ms. V is her name and she is definitely the person to get the job done in the school, and the community. Ms. V will help the school to become a great school, and work hard with the community. Ms. V always talked about the vision of the charter school, and how the community will work along with the school. V states that she will continue to help this community grow and reach its full potential. Her plan for the community is to keep the school running as a blue ribbon school. Hopefully the school vision will lead us to a new school in the future, and built from the ground a new school, new community center, and early childhood center. This will happen if, the community and the different stakeholders, comes together and make it work. Leaders have to take a stand in the school, and the community and be heard. “ I am a leader” this is how things supposed to be done. Hopefully in our new school, we will have the latest classrooms, technology, and state of the art cafeteria. We hope that the different stakeholders in the area will help with funding our school. Having the latest classroom will include, nice furniture, plenty of closets, science classrooms. We can ask for a nice computer lab, and the library can have computers also. A nice cafeteria, with plants hanging from the ceiling, and pictures on the wall. This is what I am hoping for in the new 21st century school that should be complete by September,
