Bo Jackson was know has a superhero or epic hero during his era. He showed the world his gift of both baseball and football. Being the first all star athlete to play in two professional sports. He showed the world a man who is humble, had great great strength and courage, and had overcame get deeds.
At a young age Bo came from a poor family whose dad left the family; and left bo with a stuttering problem in his speech. he was bullied for his speech problem, but he was still humble and grateful for things he did had. "Right now, I'm unemployed. Hopefully, by mid summer I'll have a steady job. ... I'm up in the clouds. In a month or two, the smoke will have cleared and I'll know what I'm going to do.” (Bo Jackson).
After high school he joined Auburn University. After college he was expected to play professional football since he was top draft pick for every professional football team and had broken and set in records at Auburn. From everyone's point of view it just looked like a normal tackle; ones you get that you can just get back up from. What had happen though is that is hip popped out of place and popped back in. As it popped out it broke a blood vessel, leading him into getting a new hip. With this great deed in front of him he was still able to get up and play again. "Every injured athlete says he can return and really believes it," Dr. Sledge said. "A physician's role is not to completely destroy hope, but to give a patient a little glimmer even when it may not be statistically warranted." After the surgery and months of physical therapy he went back to baseball and played for the Chicago White Sox. Even though he only played for a couple of months before retraining; he still showed he was able to get up and fight again and no deed was going to stop
