People take stand to fix problems that seem wrong through their own perspective. Many methods have been already utilized. Bob Marley imitated Dylan’s actions by creating the song “Get Up, Stand Up.” The song featured Marley’s group, The Wailers, a band of African Americans. The song was used as a message to the American people. The song encouraged Americans to stand up and fight for their own rights. Marley also used the song to try and display the equality Americans have. Everyone has the same rights no matter what the color of their skin is, what gender they are, their sexual orientation, and all the other categories that we use to identify the groups.
