Bob Dylan, also known as Robert Allen Zimmerman, is a folk-rock singer-songwriter and is considered as one of the most famous and successful artists of all time. Bob Dylan was born on May 24, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota. His parents were Abram and Beatrice Zimmerman. He also has a younger brother named David and they were both raised in a town or community named Hibbing where Bob Dylan graduated Elementary and High School. While in highschool, he joined several music acts and bands. When he was studying at the University of Minnesota in 1959, he often performs at coffee houses. In the same year, he released his debut single “Mixed-up Confusion” accompanied by the b-side track “Corrina Corrina” (an alternate version of the original song that was included on his next album “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan”). In 1963, he released his sophomore album “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan”. The album was a solid hit and it skyrocketed Bob Dylan’s career. He then released the lead single “Blowin' in the Wind” with the b-side track “ Don't Think Twice, It's Alright”. In 1964, he released his third and fourth album “The Times They Are a-Changin'” and “Another Side of Bob Dylan” but he didn’t release or promote lead singles until the following year. He then released the lead single “The Times They Are a-Changin” with the b-side “Honey, Just Allow Me One More Chance” (his cover of the song of the same name by Henry Thomas from his 1963 album “The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan”). In 1965 he released his fifth and sixth album. His fifth album,“Bringing It All Back Home” included 2 singles. One was the lead track “Subterranean Homesick Blues” accompanied by b-side “She Belongs to Me”. His sixth album “Highway 61 Revisited” includes his greatest hit “Like a Rolling Stone” with “Gates of Eden” (originally from the album “Bringing It All Back Home”) as a b-side. In 1966, He released an album titled “Blonde on Blonde”, another album that was a hit.
