My book is cover is a knife with a red background because the knife is the same one Bob Ewell tried to use on Scout and Jem. I chose the red background because red makes the knife more obvious, i like the color red, and it makes the cover of the book interesting. This would make teenagers want to read the book more than the original cover because the tree with scout under it is kind of boring, but the red background and the knife makes it minimalistic and simple. It also shows what the book will actually get to be about.
