This body biography is supposed to represent Grete Samsa in a literal and figurative way. The heart is represented by her violin because that is her passion and where she wants to be in life. Her eyes are focused on Gregor getting back to normal so she is able to attend music school. The backbone is seeing Gregor becoming more human because that’s what makes her feel that her life will go back to normal. Her backbone towards the end starts bending showing that her dream could never come true. She is holding a violin and gloves. The food that was drawn on the background represents the food that Grete had to serve to Gregor. Learning to figure out how to satisfy Gregor 's new appetite. This shows how nurturing Grete was for Gregor. My group colored the new food that Gregor likes with accents of brown and green to show that his new cravings are totally different from when he was human. This brown and green color is also seen on the gloves, showing how dirty the food Gregor was eating. We colored her dress purple because purple shows wealth which is how Grete lived because she never had to work in her life. The color purple also represents nurture which is she did for Gregor when he turned into a bug. We colored her nails pink because it shows innocence and playfulness.
