Bohemian Rhapsody is a song most people will never know the true meaning of. The songs has many points of views. Up until the 1990’s did the song not have any meaning or popularity. The song did not make it’s big debut until almost 20 years later in Wayne's World (Reed). From Wayne’s World the songs popularity had risen in the USA, than when it was first released. Now the song had peaked in the US charts at number 2 (“Bohemian”). Through an unusual structure of the song by the instruments, lyrics, and the layering of the voices, the meaning was found; but was not fully developed or finalized. Queen has been known for many songs; “We Will Rock You”, “Another One Bites the Dust”, “We Are the Champions”, and many more. Queen formed in London in 1970; which included Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon (“Queen”). Queen had released “Bohemian Rhapsody” in 1975 before their album “News of the World” in 1977. The song had a unique sense of style; one not having a single chorus, the ballad segment, operatic passage, hard rock, guitar solo, and a reflective coda or ending (“Bohemian”). The band Queen pushed the boundary of purpose all the time; from “Bohemian Rhapsody” for the lyrics, voices, and instruments to the costumes they had on stage while performing (“Bohemian Rhapsody by”). Though the costumes were questionable no one could really deny the fact that the songs created and sung by the band Queen were pure genius or well thought out. “Bohemian Rhapsody” is an example of this from the lyrics, and distinct pattern of voices, to instrument choices created one beautiful song; one that has now been alive for 40 years. Arguments arise that this is not the true purpose and that the song has no true meaning is wrong.
