The summer of 1945 is the time that Harry S. Truman decided to release the bombs on Japanese civilian. The usage from the atomic bombs caused deaths to millions of Japanese civilians, that was able to count, and the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. On August 6, 1945, the Japanese city of Hiroshima destroyed by a nuclear weapon, an atomic bomb dropped by the United States. Three days later, a second atomic bomb dropped on the city of Nagasaki; five days after that, Japan gave in and surrendered to the United States, helping to bringing an end to World War II. On August 6, 1945 the US dropped an atomic bomb ‘Little Boy’ on Hiroshima in Japan. Then Three days later the second atomic bomb ‘Fat Man’ dropped on the city Nagasaki. There was Many reasons to give why the US administration decided to drop the atomic bomb on Japan. Reasons included The United States wanted to force Japan's surrender to American. United States needed to use the atomic bomb before the Soviet Union enrolled into the war against Japan to establish US dominance afterwards. This action started from the memory of Sadako who was two years old when the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima and later died from the disease leukaemia caused by the exposure to nuclear radiation. She believed that folding paper cranes would help herself recover, she kept folding them until she passed away October 25th, 1955, after an eight-month struggle with the disease. Sadako's death inspired a campaign to build a monument to pray for world peace. The Children's Peace Monument built with funds donated from all over Japan. Now, approximately 10 million cranes offered each year in front of the Children's Peace
