Bonnie and Clyde were two of the most notorious bank robbers known to the day. Bonnie Elizabeth Parker was born on Oct 1, 1910 in Rowena, Texas. She was the second of three children and dealt with the death of her father at age four. Bonnie’s mother quickly packed things up and headed for Dallas, Texas. Bonnie loved writing poems and was really able to express herself. Bonnie had never been involved in crime before Clyde.
Clyde Chestnut Barrow was born on Mar 24, 1909 in Ellis County, Texas. Clyde was born into a poor family and was the fifth child out of seven. His family ended up moving to Dallas and living under their wagon for the first month of being down there. His father was eventually able to gather enough money to build a tent. The two met on January 5, 1930 at a friends house. Clyde was staying with a friend in a West Dallas neighborhood. Bonnie had been staying with a friend recovering from a broken arm, that same day Clyde stopped and they were instantly in love with each other. They were known for robbing banks with their gang. They would all travel the U.S. during the time of the Great Depression robbing and killing people. There is not many accounts of deaths, however they would do what was necessary if cornered of confronted.
Their death was displayed for everyone to read and find out about. They were purposefully ambushed and killed on Mar 24, 1934 on a rural road in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. They were in daylight in a car and shot by a posse of four Texas cops. A few famous quotes said by Bonnie and Clyde were “This here is Miss Bonnie Parker. I’m Clyde Barrow.
