Bonnie joined Clyde and his gang after the murders, as they went on the run. As they were on the run Bonnie and Clyde, along with a gang member, lived at Clyde’s brother, Buck’s house. Buck’s house was in Joplin, Missouri. Buck’s neighbors reported Bonnie and Clyde after a few weeks. The police went to Buck’s house and a shootout occurred. Bonnie and Clyde would not surrender. They fought hard and everyone made it out safely. In the shootout 2 officers were killed. The police started a manhunt for them all. Eventually they were found in Missouri. When they were found another shootout occurred. Buck was severely injured in the fight. The police caught up to them a few days later. Buck and another gang member surrendered to police while Bonnie and Clyde ran. Buck later died due to his injuries in police custody. After that in January, Clyde helped a friend escape prison. Clyde’s gang grew and now included a ex texas ranger. The man that owned the house bargained with police to let his son out of jail for Bonnie and Clyde’s location. The police used a lure for the unforeseen couple. They set a man on the side of the road with a broke down car. When Bonnie and Clyde slowed down to help the man, the police hailed the couple to their death.
