Boo (Arthur)Radley is an engrossing character in the book “To Kill a Mockingbird.” He displays several qualities which make him him an engrossing character. Boo Radley is very shy.This is evident when he went to visit jem and was hiding in the corner.Boo Radley is also very missunderstood.We witness this several times throughout the book as the kids try to get him to come out.and also on page 43 when scout was asking miss maudie if boo was dead and why he wont come out if the house.Boo Radley is also brave.The author shows this when boo radley pulled Bob Ewell off of scout when ever bob was attacking the children.This essay will show that boo possessess the three qualities stated.

This shows that Boo Radley is shy because when people seclude themselves it's usually because they are shy and afraid.Another thing that showed thar that Boo was shy is that he usually stayed in his house and never came outside.
