“Boo was about six-and-a-half feet tall, judging from his tracks, he dined on raw squirrels and any rats he could catch, that’s why his hands were blood stained.” Boo Radley shows up very little in the book and most of the time it is what people infer about him. People know very little about Boo but we know he is childish, caring and reserved. Boo did or had things put upon him that made him childish. “Boo was locked in the courthouse basement...Mr Radley employed to keep Boo out of sight.” When Boo is locked in a basement at a young age he will not develop like most people. Boo has been very caring for Atticus children. “When I went back, they were folded across the fence like they were expectin me...And somethin else- Jem’s voice was flat, show you when we get home. They’d been sewed up. Not like a lady sewed em like somethin I’d try to do. All crooked.” Boo appears to be very caring and genuinely concerned about jem. If Boo did not care about Jem then why would he do that, and who else would have done that.
