“Sit down; you’re not going anywhere. We’re going to talk.” Waving the paper, Detective Ward said, “A Motorist found Gary Hudson, murdered and dumped out on the highway. What do you know about it?” “I don’t know anything about that. Why don’t you let me go, and we’ll forget about this,” Gary said staring at the detective. Handing him the paper with his picture and fingerprints, he said, “Explain this.”
Staring at it, Gary shook his head and said, “There’s a mistake. That’s not me.” “This report came from your fingerprints, and they don’t lie. You can cut your hair and shave your beard, but you can never change your fingerprints. Matthew Morgan, you’re under arrest for suspicion of murder in the death of Gary Hudson and identity theft,” the detective said, cuffing him, opening the door, he asked the officer, …show more content…

How exciting, he thought.
“I don’t think Mr. Hudson wear a woman’s rose pendant.” Smiling, he removed the plastic bag from the briefcase, slipped the pendant inside, writing the day and time on it, before putting it in the folder. “If this belonged to her we can connect Gary to Mrs. Barnes. Have we missed anything else around here?” The detective questioned and looked around before returning to the office.
Arriving at the station, Detective Ward started to go in the building, as Detective Simpkins was leaving the station. After their usual chit-chat about the upcoming golf tournament, Ward invited him to get a cup of coffee.
