Staring at it, Gary shook his head and said, “There’s a mistake. That’s not me.” “This report came from your fingerprints, and they don’t lie. You can cut your hair and shave your beard, but you can never change your fingerprints. “I don’t think Mr. Hudson wear a woman’s rose pendant.” Smiling, he removed the plastic bag from the briefcase, slipped the pendant inside, writing the day and time on it, before putting it in the folder. “If this belonged to her we can connect Gary to Mrs. Barnes. Arriving at the station, Detective Ward started to go in the building, as Detective Simpkins was leaving the station.
