My book report will be on the book Charlotte’s Web by E.B White, and it is a fictional book. The main setting is on a big farm with lots of barn animals and insects. I would imagine the barn to have lots of hay, dust and dirt inside, green grass outside, and a cute little house where a little family of two to three people. There are many characters in Charlotte’s Web. The main characters are Wilbur, Charlotte A. Cavatica, Fern Arable, Templeton, and the barn animals. Wilbur starts off as the “runt” of his mother’s litter. Charlotte A. Cavatica is the spider that writes comments on Wilbur’s actions. (Fun Fact: Charlotte is an araneus cavaticus spider which is where her name came from.) Fern saved Wilbur from her dad in the first chapter, and also named him Wilbur. Templeton is the big, fat rat that we don’t like so much. And last but not least, the barn animals. Rising Action: Fern believes Wilbur will be safer at her uncle’s farm instead of with her, so she sells him to her Uncle Homer. Wilbur meets a spider named Charlotte and they become great friends. Climax: Wilbur is now famous due to Charlotte’s writing on her webs about him, but now Charlotte’s children have to be born without ever seeing their mother. Falling Action and Resolution: Wilbur takes care of Charlotte’s children and become great friends, but nobody will ever compare to
