The book is written as a movie that Steve is drafting, and there are notes between sections so we can see Steve’s thoughts and what happens behind the scenes. Steve, and James King are the defendants on trial with their defence attorneys, Kathy O’Brien and Asa Briggs, who are against Sandra Petrocelli, the prosecutor.
