Elie Wiesel was a writer known for his memoir Night, in which he recounted his experiences for surviving the Holocaust. He was born on September 30, 1928 in Romania. During his early life, Elie Wiesel pursued Jewish religious studies before his family was sent to the Nazi death camps during WWII. Wiesel and his father were forced to work under inhumane conditions in Buna Werke labor camp. Then, they were forced to march to Buchenwald where his father died after being beaten.
The Holocaust was a very traumatic event for everyone who experienced it and those who came after, and it gave many people experience, trauma, and disorders that they should never have had. Those of us who did not personally experience the pain will never know what those Jews went through in those camps, but Maus and Night share the experiences and horrors that millions of Jews had to live through. In the memoir Night was written by Elie Wiesel in 1955, 10 years after the events happened. This book is about the Holocaust, there were about 4-6 million victims of the Holocaust. The Holocaust happened between the years 1933 and 1945. Elie was a survivor of the Holocaust and wrote this memoir of the tragic events that happened to him and other people. In the first three chapters of this story, Wiesel tells about the way his life was changed and he was dehumanized and left with nothing of his old life.
“As for me, I was thinking not about death, but about not wanting to be separated from my father” Elie’s Father was really important to him because it was the last of family Elie had left. Elie did not want to remain alone in the Concentration Camps, for his father was his motivation to stay alive. The book Night by Elie Wiesel is about a kid who goes through the Holocaust at a young age, the author Is that boy, Elie was around 14 years old when the Germans took him and his home town (All jews) to Concentration camps. Elie’s Mother and his little sister were taken away and were separated, Elie was left together with his Father in the Concentration Camps.

Eliezer is the main character throughout the story ‘Night’. The story follows him and his father as their Jewish ideology is tested. Throughout the story Eliezer's is dealing with the fact that even with faith and a celestial being, man can do appalling things to fellow man. Eliezer's faith is tested in many drastic scenarios throughout the shocking events. We are introduced to a young boy by the name of Eliezer early in the story.
The book Night is based on a true story; it is based on the Holocaust and Elie Wiesel, who is a survivor of the Holocaust. It is important not to forget about the Holocaust because it was a horrific time when Jews were tortured. Jews should not have been tortured in such an unforgivable way. They were just normal people and did not hurt anyone. Elie tells his story about how the Nazi officers took him and his family from their houses and separated him from his mother and sister.
Just imagine that you lost everything in just one night. You had to give everything up, leaving all your belongings behind and even your house. Who knows for how many years when all of them will be back, if some of them do back it. Maybe one day they would be reunited with all their family ,their house and all your belongings. In the book Night, the main character is Elie Wiesel and in Between Shades of Gray the main character is Lina.

Auschwitz is one of the biggest concentration camps located in Southern Poland. Auschwitz is one of the biggest camps because it consist of three other camps into one like an assembly line. The three camps were a prison camp, a exterminated camp and a slave labor camp.
In the book Night Eliezer came face to face to some of his greatest fears, separating with his family, didn’t know where they were going but all at once he felt changed. He didn’t feel like God was with him, he felt as if he vanished. They go to many concentration camps and work many hours, go through tons of selections, train trip, and running miles a day. Your time at the camp is either life or death swaying back and forth. “Never shall I forget those moments that murdered my God and my soul that turned my dreams to ashes.”
In class we read the nonfiction book, Night by Elie Wiesel. It is a story about Elie, as a young teen, being a victim of the Holocaust and the gruesome situations he been in. In the book Elie says, “The world is not interested in us” (Wiesel 33). I believe that this statement is true. The world did not do anything to save the Jewish people and just observed them being treated like objects.
Elie’s Dreadful Nightmares Elie needs to provide for himself as he has been separated from her family and Moishe. The surroundings make him afraid, but he must persevere and secretly find a way out. What will Elie do to help save himself and his family from this dreadful situation? Follow along as Elie begins his journey to escape. I, one of people that read the book; Night by Elie Wiesel, would like to share some opinions that I have for the book that I read. Before that, we should know what the book; Night is about. This book is a writing of one of the survivors from the Holocaust, World War II. The beginning of the story take place in Sighet, Transylvania in 1941. The author superbly expresses the feelings that he felt during the dark age of this world that he experienced through his writing.
Elie Wiesel is the author of Night, a book written through the point of view of a teenage boy living in the time of the holocaust. Experiencing things like separating from family, seeing people dying daily, and starvation. He is sometimes looked at as blessed for making it out of the holocaust alive, he did not do it without many hardships.

The author Elie Wiesel,winner of the 1986 Nobel Peace Prize and a Holocaust survivor, published this award winning book in the year 1956. He wrote this novel to tell about his experiences with his father in the Nazi Germany concentration camps at Auschwitz and Buchenwald in 1944-1945. Now his word and his story has gotten to the public so now we all now know and understand the horror of the Holocaust.
