“We shall meet again” Those are the last words of a victim of this cruel and horrid genocide of the Jewish religion, better known as the Holocaust.Night is the best title for this book, Darkness is all the Jews could see in the gas chambers.Night is the best title for this book because of the darkness,loneliness, and scariness the word night is associated with. The first example is when the Jews are being separated into 2 groups like cattle in chapter 3. Second example is when Eli and his father see the burning of little infants. Third is when there being transported in cattle cars. How the Jews being separated makes Night a perfect title for this book,In chapter 3 the Jews are transferred to Auschwitz in cattle cars there they will be separated into two groups men and females this is where Eli saw his mom for the last time.This is a good example for Night to be the title because it shows loneliness being separated from your family is horrible and not knowing if you're ever gonna see …show more content…

Imagine your family was taken and separated never to be seen again you would feel all alone and lost like in darkness. The loss of a family member is the loneliest feeling ever especially if it's someone your close with like your dad.In chapter 8 Eli's father dies after that Eli feels alone as if there was no point of living.Being separated from your loved ones is something no young child should experience.How seeing infants and loved ones being burned alive is a good example of why Night is the best title for this book. Damage done to the younger generation can affect the future of their lives mentally and physically.In chapter 3 Eli and his father see a burst of flames go into the air they find where its coming from and they see the burning of infants and innocent children, they said that image was burned into their brain.
