The book ¨Night¨ is written by a Holocaust survivor and and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Elie Wiesel, who went through terrible things during his time in German captivity. The events were unforgettable and life changing. He stayed with his father through all of these tough times. He escaped the terror of the Holocaust turning him into a savage even though it caused attacks from prisoners and insanity. Throughout the book there were scenes where beatings and fights broke out among the prisoners for absolutely nothing. Elie and his father both received beatings. They didn't do anything wrong, and didn't deserve them. On the second cattle car, when Germans were throwing bread at the prisoners, it got crazy. Elie wrote, ¨Men were hurling themselves
