In the book The Pigman by Paul Zindel, Mr Pignati invited John and Lorraine over to his house to collect $10.00.This was for the fake charity they said they were from. Once there they became fond of the Pig Man, so they began hanging out there. They often went to the zoo to visit Mr. Pignati’s best friend Bobo the baboon. After a wonderful trip to the department store and buying roller skates and simply having a wonderful time they were over at Mr. Pignati’s house and had confessions to make. At this point John and Lorraine knew Mr. Pignati's wife was dead and not on vacation like he had been pretending. Mr Pignati confessed that his wife was dead. After this emotional event they needed some fun and decided to play tag with the roller skates
