People in the 1935 suffered a lot by their new leader Hitler who tortured billions of people just for their beliefs and religion and the way they were. Hitler did death camps for people like Jews, Nazis, and Communist (etc.).Germany people exterminated the Jews in Nineteen-Thirty three through Nineteen- forty five in Europe because Hitler thought he was the ruler, he didn’t like the Jews because of their religion he thought they invaded there land. The book Night is an autobiography written by Elie Wiesel, Then first they came for the communist it's a autobiography by Martin Neimoller. People would get burned in a crematorium because the Germen's didn’t like the Jews and other people.

In the book Night, Elie experiences certain things that happen in the concentration camps that has affected him. On page 85, the SS Officers said " Faster, you tramps, you flea-ridden dogs!." The officers made Elie and all the other people in the concentration camp run in the snow. Later on the people trampled with all the people on the ground. On page 93, Elie heard " you are crushing me. . . . have mercy!, the voice familiar you are crushing me mercy, have mercy!" The boy was Juliek from Warsaw he was squished and couldn’t get enough air then he started playing his piano and he died the next day when they woke up. The poems spoked about how they didn’t speak up for the people they were taking to other places and what was happening and also that everyone needs to speak up for other people but if they don’t people should speak up for themselves because who else would. What I'm going to really remember is how babies were getting burned and how they sent the people supposedly going to go shower which led them to death. Also people went through the holocaust without knowing if they will survived or not that is completely devastating what people did to kill Jews and many more absolutely no one deserves to be in that place. The holocaust was an heartbreaking, sad, and cruel thing to happen in this
