The book Night is a nonfiction book about how Elie Wiesel lived in the town of Sighet as a child and was put into a concentration camp. He was put in a concentration camp because he is Jewish and was growing up during World War 2, when Hitler ordered the extermination of all Jewish people. This book is well written and fits all of my criteria for what makes a book worth reading.
The book ¨Night¨ is written by a Holocaust survivor and and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Elie Wiesel, who went through terrible things during his time in German captivity. The book Night, is very upsetting to most people, but it talks about an actual view of somebodies experience in World War Two, and how things actually were. World War Two, was the most destructive conflict in history. It lasted from 1939-1945, Adolf Hitler (the Leader of the Nazi’s) was determined to pretty much invade Poland, and they did. Two days later, France and Britain declared war on Germany. That is when the war broke out.

The book Night is an autobiography written by a valorous holocaust survivor named Elizer (Elie) Wiesel. The book takes place during Hitler’s reign and contains what I believe to be two exceedingly heavy and key themes: terror and hate. First, let's kick off with terror. One event that is crucial to mention actually happened when Elie first arrived in Birkenau. This is when he witnesses the horrific scene of babies being burned alive.
What a Time to be Alive “To forget a Holocaust is to kill twice”(Elie Wiesel). The book “Night” was published on 1956 and it was written by Elie Wiesel. Your time at the camp is either life or death swaying back and forth. “Never shall I forget those moments that murdered my God and my soul that turned my dreams to ashes.”
The horrors of the Holocaust dehumanized Elie and took away what little of himself he had left. In the concentration camps, people were forced into inhumane conditions and one of the inhumane conditions was being withheld food. As Elie writes,“I was nothing but a body. Perhaps even less:” In the time that Elie has
