Writing About The Memoir Night Elie Wiesel In “Night,” written by Elie Wiesel, he shares the unbearable history of surviving the Holocaust along with his father and millions of people from Jewish communities. Elie walks us through some of his experiences in the Auschwitz concentration camps. He also talks with people about some of the hardest conquests he has faced and lived with during these times that the Nazi soldiers have held many people captive. Elie opens up about his inner most thoughts and feelings, along this his personal relationships in his time as a Jewish prisoner. In 1941 their lives were quiet, peaceful if you may. By 1944 the community was sure things with the German army were coming to a close. This was until the German forces penetrated into Hungarian territory with government approval. This was only the beginning for young Elie and his fellow Jewish community. People were thrown on to over crowded cattle cars, given a small ration of water and hauled off to their fates. Elie managed to stay put with his father meanwhile never seeing his mother and sister again. Men were separated into different groups, some were taken to different prisoner housing blocks, while the weak were headed straight to death in the crematorium.
