Do you like the book or the movie better? This paper consists of the differences and the similarities between the movie and the novel. The most major differences will be addressed throughout the essay. In my opinion the movie was a lot better than the book. The movie didn’t have nowhere near as many details as the book, but the movie had more excitement. The book is way more exaggerated than the movie, because everything had a purpose in the book. However, the creativity and art was involved in both the book and novel. I loved Dr.Manhattan and his powers are similar to superman. That was my favorite character overall, and Nite Owl was my second by far. Therefore, I admired both characters ways throughout the movie. In the Watchmen it has cast a long shadow over the comic’s landscape with its reinvention of the modern comic-book hero, portraying its protagonists as a beyond-their-prime collection of would-be vigilantes in the throes of midlife crises instead of the usual caped or clawed male-fulfillment fantasies.
