Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. DuBois’s views are completely different when it came down to fighting for African American rights. Washington felt that African Americans needed to work hard to earn their basic human rights to show the whites that they were worthy of being treated equally. On the other hand, DuBois thought that African Americans were being robbed from being treated like a regular human being just because of the color of their skin.
