Introduction One of the most important public health problem faced by Australia is obesity epidemic. In the modern busy world people are more addicted towards fizzy or sugary drinks. Because of this addiction there are lots of health issues in the country. Therefore government started taking initiatives by raising awareness on how much sugar the carbonate drinks contain, how it impacts the overall health of an individual along with how it affects the government funding on health cares. Due to this awareness people were more concerned about their health and they started reducing their consumption of fizzy or sugary drinks instead they prefer to have healthy and nutritional drinks. They are trying to introduce more demandable and healthy products in the market. Their demand has been increased to a great extent and because of that they are trying to maximize their supply for setting up stores in each and every city. The company had about 280 boost juice stores in all around Australia in 2011.It has grown to about 400 since then and then it has expanded its business in bottled juice. Companies’ latest financial result shows that boost juice posted a 32% increase in sales. This means that boost juice companies demand and supply in the market has grown to a great extent. They are in the stage of market equilibrium. Figure 2.2 In Fig 2.2 illustrate an increase in the demand of Boost Juice. In this figure there is an increase in demand, so the demand curve shift rightwards that is from D to D1 and the quantity demanded at each price has been increased in same proportion from Q to Q1.Due to increase in demand and quantity the supply of products has also increased from S to S1.
