“Obstacles do not block the path, they are the path.” One hardship that Matilda faced was losing grandfather. Since grandfather was Matilda’s only present family member, it was hard for Matilda to live without him. Matilda prevailed this hardship
Not everyone has a perfect life in today’s world. Many of us have gone through hardships or, are going through rocky times. Kelly Clarkson once sang,”What doesn't kill you makes you stronger” and that's exactly what i'm going to prove. Hard times don’t always destroy you and make you stronger as a person. Joe rantz, and Olympic rower for the 1936 Olympics, had many hardships in his life.
Barriers throughout someone’s lifetime could shatter them, or help them to build and become a better person. Either way, it is a decision one makes on their own. Some people’s hardships are worse than others, but that does not mean it was not tough for them to handle. Conflicts could even help shape the person going through a tough time. Simone Biles was determined to become stronger from her challenges, mentally and physically.
Hardship is an endeavor no person yearns for, and logically it’s fathomable why we’d steer away from difficulties. However, one can only value what they have when they’ve survived the unimaginable, because without hardships we’d be oblivious to the triumphs in life. History is an abyss of unfortunate events, nevertheless we have conquered every setback. The civil war, for example, was one of the United States most traumatic times. Much can be said about the bloodiest four years in american history, but overall in order to find harmony between the divided sides, we had to fight battle by battle for a cause that, with all the gruesome sacrifices no longer seemed worth it.
Sandy is a 13 year-old girl who has been referred to the school therapist as she punched a classmate who took her pen without asking. When her teacher scolded her, she skipped next class and left school. General behaviors of bullying, skipping classes and self-harming have been referred from parents and teachers. These will be analyzed progressively onwards. Taking the latter information into account, some superficial assumptions regarding diagnosis could be made.
The Hardships in Life As we grow up, we learn to solve our own problems and overcome the hardships we face. A good example is Frederick Douglass’s hardship of learning how to read and write, and how he overcame the situation that he was by working hard. Likewise, obtaining my US citizenship is my hardship I am facing. Like Douglass, I must find a way to persevere and find a solution to my hardship.
Obstacles can be challenging, and difficult, but people can overcome them by never giving up, always trying their best, and surrounding themselves with families and friends. Two stories that I have read that show adversity are “A Work in Progress” by Aimee Mullins which is about a little girl losing her leg. The other story I read is “So Far From the Bamboo Grove” by Yoko Kawashima Watkins about a little girl that has to leave her home because of war and has very big obstacles to overcome. Aimee Mullins and the Kawashimas both face obstacles that include losing family members, walking very far in intense weather, and people doubting you and trying to stop you. In the end they all make it through the the challenges mentally and physically.

My girlfriend is bipolar The title says it all. My girlfriend is bipolar. She also suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder. If she knew I was writing this, She’d kill me, both literally and figuratively.
Easy to encounter, not so easy to overcome, failures claw at hopes and successes. They bring down those who are weak enough to let them in. They strengthen those that can get past them. I got past one that almost ruined my chances for new opportunities.
Attachment and Borderline Personality Disorder This paper aims to explore monogamous relationships and how partners, either one or both, who have a borderline personality disorder (BPD) affect the relationship, As well as how those who suffer from BPD may take action to defend against the harmful effects brought on by BPD in relationships. Mariah Sanabria “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.” Booker T. Washington Life can often be full of obstacles. However, that does not mean that overcoming them and being successful is not possible. Obstacles in life are there as challenges. Obstacles that people face will show who they really are.
Michael Phelps, a professional swimmer, once said, “There will be obstacles. There will be doubters. There will be mistakes. But with hard work, there are no limits,” (¨AZ Quotes¨). This quotes shows that throughout one’s journey they will eventually have to go against many obstacles, and have to find a a way to get through them.
I think it is very important to understand that obstacles are only there to make you better, gain some major life skills and that they are not there to bring you down. It is
In our life, there are periods of challenges that we must face, but the real challenge is how we grow and learn from overcoming them. Being naive children, we believed that life was simplistic and effortless. Well, we were wrong, we can only yearn for life to be easy. Growing up, we continue to face countless hurdles that only get bigger and bigger. My life, in particular, has been filled with numerous up and downs.
